2013 Conference Speakers’ Bio
Joe Propri – The director of the Biblical Counseling Institute, Joe has been NANC certified since 1980. He has had articles on counseling published in the Biblical Counseling Journal, and is the author of The Peace & Joy Principle. He and Debbie, married for 44 years, have four children and five grandchildren. Joe recently retired from full time pastoring and focuses on training others.
Armand and Kathy Tiffe, married for over 30 years, have been serving the Lord in full-time ministry since 1982. They are blessed with two godly children and their spouses. Armand is the Pastor of Cornerstone Community Church located in Mayfield Heights Ohio. He is a graduate of Liberty University, a certified biblical counselor and trainer of biblical counseling for the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors (NANC). He is also the author of Transformed Into His Likeness: A Handbook for Putting Off Sin and Putting On Righteousness, published by Focus Publishing. Kathy is involved in teaching a weekly woman’s Bible study, as well as teaching and mentoring within their ministry for mothers of preschoolers. She has a Bachelor of Ministry Degree and is a certified biblical counselor through NANC. Kathy enjoys teaching, speaking to and counseling women from all walks of life.
Glenn Dunn – Glenn was certified as a Nouthetic Counselor in 2000, through the National Association of Nouthetic Counselors. He serves on the board of the Biblical Counseling Institute. He also serves as an instructor with the Institute, training pastors and lay people both in his own church, and most recently in Trinidad and St. Lucia. Glenn serves as the preaching/teaching pastor of Cornerstone Bible Fellowship, devoting a major portion of his ministry to biblical counseling and the restoration of families and individuals through the Word of God, (Col. 1:28). Glenn also shared host duties on the “Transforming Lives” radio program.
David Gray is the pastor of First Baptist Church of Garrettsville. He is married to Betty and has two daughters and two grandchildren. Pastor Gray graduated from Liberty University and is a working toward a Masters in Theology. His passion is to see revival and reformation in the Church through helping people develop and maintain Biblical families.
Bob Concoby - Bob is a certified counselor and an ordained elder who delights working in the local church. His passion is to make theology practical and useful for his Christian brothers and sisters. He and Gloria live in Kent, and have two grown children.
Fred and Lauri Bucci are co-founders of Cornerstone Community Church in Mayfield Heights, Ohio where Fred serves as an elder and Bible study teacher and Lauri serves as a worship leader. Both are NANC-certified biblical counselors. Fred and Lauri recently sold their HVAC business to pursue a full-time biblical counseling ministry. They and their daughter Melissa are lifelong residents of Mayfield Heights.
Ed Fedor has served as the Assistant Pastor at Cornerstone Community Church since 2003 and has been an elder since 1998. He is ordained through the Evangelical Free Church of America and is finishing his Master of Arts degree in Theology. Ed oversees the Small Groups ministry, leadership development, and administrative functions of the church. He has been married to Elizabeth for 22 years and they have two children.
Cheryl Kupetz was born and raised in the Cleveland Ohio area and lives in Bay Village with her husband Jim. They have two married children and six wonderful grandchildren. After completing BCI certification, Cheryl became NANC certified in September of 2009. She counsels women and youth, leads a Ladies Bible Study at Cornerstone Bible Fellowship church and also volunteers there as part time secretary.
Janie Johnson has been married for 44 years to her husband, TJ and they have two adult children. They live half the year in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and the other half in (Spring Island) Okatie, South Carolina. She is an active member of Parkside Church in Chagrin Falls, Ohio and also an active member of Community Bible Church in Beaufort, South Carolina. She is a certified biblical counselor with NANC and has been counseling in both churches. She has been teaching in women’s ministry at Parkside Church for many years. She has led a 9-week prayer workshop and a one day prayer seminar at Community Bible Church. Janie also teaches a bible study in her home for the women of her community in Spring Island. Janie has an Associate Arts degree from Stephens College in Columbia,Missouri and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ursuline College in Pepper Pike, Ohio. Janie enjoys golf, skiing, exercising and walking their two dogs.
Marty Coyne – Martin Patrick Coyne received his B.A in Evangelism and Bible from Moody Bible Institute and a M.A in Bible theology from Wheaton College. He currently serves as Youth Pastor at Cornerstone Community Church in Mayfield Ohio.
