Plenary Sessions

First Plenary Session: The Study of God: Life’s Most Important Pursuit – Armand Tiffe (9:15 am)

You can set your heart ablaze with no loftier, more worthy ambition, than the pursuit of an increasingly intimate knowledge of the nature of the God who created and redeemed you.  There is nothing that will build or strengthen a God-centered faith like the study of the attributes of God, which in turn will make us more effective as we counsel one another.  This is THE foundation stone of all theology—the greatest knowledge in the universe.

Second Plenary Session: Omnipotence: The Promise of God’s Power – Glenn Dunn (11:30 am)

Every counselor has encouraged their counselee to depend upon the promise of Philippians 4:13; ”I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” This promise means nothing if it isn’t rooted in God’s power. Come and be encouraged in the reality of God’s omnipotence and its effect in the counseling setting. Our hope as counselors and Christians rests in the fact that God always keeps his promises and He has the power to do so.

Third Plenary Session: Stewards of the Image of God – Joe Propri (3:00 pm)

What does it mean to be in made “in the image of God”? This was the purpose and destiny for Adam and Eve, and now, for us! We often talk about being a good steward of our time, talent and treasure, but how well are we doing with being a steward of His image?
